I love being a Woodlands senior photographer! It is so fun to get to capture the memories for these guys and girls as they move forward to the next chapter in their lives. They have one foot out the door and ready to take on the world. And I get a front row view to this transformation. How lucky am I?
Recently I had such a great session. When they contacted me Michele (mom) told me that I could pick any location that I wanted. They gave me their entire trust and I had a such a fun time planning the different spots we would hit.
Our first location was behind a popular breakfast place and basically a parking garage. They didn’t even blink! So cool!!! Plus, I had already seen the outfits that we were working with and they were amazing. This girl has some style.
I also decided to play a little. I brought a little lace and had some shadow play time. The sun, the lace, a beautiful girl, all things together made for some awesome photos!!! And I can’t tell you how happy I was that she went with a BOLD lip. They are everything!
After a couple of outfit changes we moved to the next location. It was next to the David’s Bridal store by The Woodlands Mall. Who knew that would be a cool place to take pictures? ME!!! I knew!!! As a The Woodlands Senior photographer I make it my job and goal in life to find random places to take pictures with my clients.
The Last Location in The Woodlands Senior Session
For our last location we went a little more natural. We hit up a field that has been calling my name for years! I have been so worried that they will start building something there. I finally got to take pictures there. And the field did not disappoint.
I feel so fortunate that Ryleigh and her mom, Michele, trusted me with their memories. Ryleigh was a dream to work with and photograph. The light at the field was so warm and beautiful. It lite the trees so perfectly and the colors were made to go with Ryleigh’s outfits. It was the perfect ending to an absolute amazing session!

Maria was amazing! I could not have asked for a better photographer for Ryleighs senior photos.
