The first seniors for the class of 2026 are coming in. I had a Houston senior session and it was magic. That session inspired a second session at the same spot. So fun to see the same location with two clients and get images taht show each girl’s personality.
Usually I do my session during golden hour but this time I chose a different time. I know I always say that golden hour is magic but this time we did magic with another kind of light. The challenge was a welcomed change. Stepping out of my comfort zone felt good. I wanted to use my flash and test out new “looks”. As a photographer I try to always explore new possibilities so I can give you the best experience when you book a session with me.
So I had my challenge: a mid day session in Houston with my external light. I drove into Houston and met Lyla and her mom, Paige. We started out and from the very first image I knew I had captured something great. That location in the heart of Houston was a perfect background for Lyla’s session. So many different spots and interesting textures. We really made the best of all that fun!
That is why I always say that a Houston senior session can be perfect for people that want a lot of variety in their gallery. A very small spot can give you a lot of different LOOKS. So don’t be intimidated with Houston. I got you. There are so many cool spots that we can explore.
