My Favorite Summer Photo Spots in Houston

Let me share some of my favorite summer photo spots in Houston. Summer in Houston brings out some seriously dreamy photo vibes — golden light, lush greenery, and those bold southern skies. Whether you’re planning a senior session, a family shoot, or just want new content for your feed, here are some of my absolute favorite spots to shoot in the summer:

1. The Sabine Street Bridge (Downtown Skyline Views!)

Want city vibes? This is the spot. The view of the Houston skyline is perfect for dramatic portraits, and the light hits just right in the evening. Bonus: Buffalo Bayou Park is right there too.
📸 Best for: Seniors, branding, content creators
🕰️ Best time: Sunset golden hour or blue hour

2. The Colorful Murals in EaDo

Looking for something bold, fun, and full of personality? The East Downtown area is packed with bright murals and edgy urban vibes. It’s great for punchy, Instagram-ready shots.
📸 Best for: Branding, grads, content creators
🎨 Vibe: Street-style, fun, and fresh

3. Galveston

Okay, okay—it’s a bit of a drive, but beachy summer pics? Always worth it. Sunset sessions on the sand, wind in your hair, dreamy ocean backdrops… yes, please.
📸 Best for: Couples, seniors, lifestyle brands
🕰️ Best time: Weekday evenings (less crowds!)
